Neil Koch

Neil forged his way working in the ceiling and flooring business, beginning at the age of 14 as a helper in the family company. He has been involved in this industry for over 40 years. He has unsurpassed knowledge of the installation process.

His career began as a helper, advancing to a ceiling and flooring mechanic, then field superintendant and now owner of Architectural Acoustics. He is responsible for all field personnel, scheduling of installation, and quality control.

Pennye Koch

Pennye began working in the ceiling and flooring industry in 1979.

She and Neil married in 1983. She started as a bookkeeper and then went on to estimate for over 10 years.

She now oversees the general managerial, safety, and accounting positions as co-owner of Architectural Acoustics.

Kamryn Koch Heard

Kamryn launched her full-time career in the flooring and ceiling business as an estimator in 2009, after graduating from McNeese State University.

While at MSU she worked for Architectural Acoustics on a limited basis. She leaves her mark at McNeese State University as the first female student-athlete to have their jersey retired after a stand out collegiate soccer career.

Reata Lang

Reata started installing ceramic tile in Dallas TX. in 1977. She moved to Lafayette in 1979 and went to work as an installer for a local tile company. After several years in the field, Reata was promoted into the office and worked as an estimator.

She joined Architectural Acoustics in 2004 as their chief estimator. Reata’s 30+ years of experience in the flooring, ceramic tile, and ceiling industry provides her with invaluable knowledge.


Harleigh joined the Architectural Acoustics staff in 2010 as a pup.

She has eaten us out of house and home and now serves as our 90 pound Chief Security Officer, Newspaper Retriever, and Food Disposal.

She works for treats and belly rubs!!!
